Peninsula Strategies has worked with dozens of organizations in a range of industries.  Our goal is not just to solve your problem, but to take your business to the next level.

Project Phases

Before we recommend any action plan, we assess your situation. This first phase of work can take anywhere from a several days to a few weeks, depending on the availability of information. The purpose of this assessment is to put the client's challenges in context. We have found that this up-front assessment provides a grounding for future analyses and can be very helpful in decision making throughout the organization.

Phase 1 - Data Gathering and Market Assessment

Review Existing Data

Conduct Additional Research

Assess Core Advantages

Once the assessment is complete, the analysis of specific challenges can be highly efficient. Analysis of the market situation and internal strengths and weaknesses allows our staff to quickly develop fact-based plans for a variety of teams within the company.

Deliverables

Market Assessment.
We provide you with a thorough analysis of your business “sweet spot” and recommendations on how to move forward. We summarize and document the key findings of our research, questions that still need to be answered, and recommendations on next steps. While we always provide our clients with the detailed data that we've collected, we make sure to provide an executive summary that digests the reams of paper and offers action steps based on the results.

Decision Summit.
After a high level goal has been set, the next step is mapping out the specific actions that will lead to the desired result. This action plan may include working with product development, product marketing, marketing communications, operations and sales to set a timeline with key milestones. We will then stay involved until the milestones have been achieved, keeping the project on track and focusing on achieving the required objectives. Examples of the action plans we develop include the following:

Action Plan and Milestone Review.
Generally, clients ask for a Market Assessment when they are making a major decision about a particular market—often a decision to move ahead, shut down a business or change directions. To assist you in making objective, well thought-out decisions, we will facilitate team meetings in which we review key data, identify potential actions and discuss the best course. The objective of these sessions is to get team leaders aligned about next steps, and to empower the organization to move forward immediately.
